Evgeniya Martirosyan is a Cork based artist, current member of Cork Artist Collective, The National Sculpture Factory and Visual Artist Ireland. Martirosyan graduated from the Crawford College of Art and Design in 2016, receiving a number of awards, including residencies at Sample-Studios and The National Sculpture Factory, and exhibition awards at Cork Film Centre and TACTIC Gallery.
Martirosyan’s work has been shown both nationally and internationally, and she participated in several established residency program, including MONUMENTAL/TEMPORAL residency with PRAKSIS, Oslo, led by the German sculptor Gereon Krebber. She received numerous Awards and Bursaries from the Arts Council of Ireland and Cork City Council Arts Office. Her recent pieces, ‘Chrysalis’ (2020) and ‘Under Your Skin’ (2020) are part of the collection at Crawford Art Gallery, Cork, Ireland.
